About AKlutch Productions
I’m Anson Kairys, an Ann Arbor native. AKlutch Productions is my way of connecting with people and creating the kinds of nights I want more of in this city: good people in the same room, enjoying something live.
Founded in 2026, AKlutch sold out its first-ever show at HOMES Campus. That first night confirmed the idea. People are ready to get off their screens, laugh together, and feel part of their city again.
We’re always looking to partner with Ann Arbor venues on well-run shows designed to be a win for everyone: a lively room for the venue, fair pay and a strong platform for performers, and a memorable night out for the community.
What AKlutch stands for
AKlutch Productions exists to bring good people into great spaces for comedy that feels alive, generous, and local. The company is built around a simple premise: when performers are treated fairly and venues are chosen with care, audiences get a better night out.
Every show starts with a simple goal: keep it lean, be clear about the money from the start, and put as much of each ticket sale as we can back into the people onstage. The exact split can change with the room and the show, but the priority stays the same: performers get a real platform and the strongest possible payout.
AKlutch looks for venues with character: places where a comedy night feels like it belongs, not like it was dropped in.
The goal is more real-life human performance, more shared laughter, and more reasons to leave the house.
